where are you betty and how close is the heat of summer ... as to the shrubs ...

perennials you can probably go for it ...

it would really help to know what plants we are talking about ... it might matter on some ... pix here for shrubs.. perennial forum for such ...

both would probably be better done in fall ... depending where you are

They aren't rooted in by now, go for it, now, and move them.

Mulch really good in their new spots, at least 3 inches and water every day for 7 days.

Then a couple times a week. If they are evergreens with needles, DONT move them til September, if you are a colder zone. Conifers, evergreen with needles and cones, can't

really be moved in the summer heat.

So many people move them, and they all die.
