The original plant looks really good except a bit pale, i would not have done a thing against bugs. Besides manual squishing... Mint is super strong. Sometimes you just need to let the bugs get a share of the bounty.

I think neem oil is best is cooler weather not so much the summer.

Anyway your mint will definitely recover. But no more neem oil imo.... try soap oil and veg oil beneath leaves.

It looks like the neem oil burned your mint plant. When did you apply the oil? My container says to apply in the evenings because the sun can cause burn. Also, did you dilute it properly? I've been told that you have to be very careful with neem because too much will also burn your plants. Luckily, mint is super hardy and quite vigorous so it should recover.

I bet it did burn, as I didn't realize I had to spray at night and have been spraying during the day before they get full sun. Oops! In my defense, my container and the booklet it came with doesn't say anything about time of day. The spray I have is "Tomato & Vegetable 3-in-1 spray with a .9% concentration of neem oil." It says ready to use.

The mint looks to be perking up.

Hm, I think given how routinely I use neem oil I should go buy something pure and mix myself.

That's what I do. Besides if you buy a concentrate its more cost effective.

you can try pruning to help with its recuperation and light hosing to rid dead bugs and possible excess oil.

Was your product made by Bonide? Read the entire label again. I can't imagine any manufacturer omitting such a basic direction from their labeling.
