My clamatis is HUGE but no flowers yet

My 2 year old clamatis is ginormous and has TONS of buds on it but hasnt opend any. Should i be feeding it anything or just let it go and see what happens?

If it's got buds on it, just leave it be.......they will open when fully formed. No blooms yet but plenty of buds indicates it is a late flowering clematis, pruning group 3. Many of these are big vines.

Clematis are best fertilized in spring, after pruning.

That is really pretty....the way you have it trellised. When it blooms will you post pics? I'm in an area with a terrible drought and my clematises are getting just the minimum of water to keep them alive so not a lot of blooms and the blooms that manage to open look stressed. Love to see some pics of healthy beautiful clemmy vines and flowers.

I have a trellis behind it but it got so big its climbing up our cable lines. Its amazing!!! I will definitely post photos when it blooms finally
