Call Electrolux they have a 5 year sealed system warranty. Look in your User Manual at the warranty and you shoud see this ... .

In addition, the cabinet liner and sealed refrigeration system
(compressor, condenser, evaporator, dryer or tubing) of your appliance is covered by a two through five year limited warranty. During the 2nd through 5th years from your original date of purchase, Electrolux will repair or replace any parts in the cabinet liner and sealed refrigeration system which prove to be defective in materials or workmanship when such appliance is installed, used, and maintained in accordance with the provided instructions.

The compressor went out on my KitchenAid after only 8 months. Fortunately, it was still under warranty. Years before, the compressor went out on a GE (on Thanksgiving Day). It sucks when it happens.

We did call Elextrolux and they are saying it is not covered at all under warranty.

First check your User manual warranty page. Confirm that it has a 2-5 year sealed system warranty. (The information I put in above was from their user manual on their website. I just copy and pasted it) If you confirm that you do indeed have the 5 year Sealed System warranty call back ELUX and explain that if they don't honor their warranty that you will just send it to the Attorney General for your state for breach of contract. Along with your phone call, You may want to do this in writing and also ask for their response in writing. They do have the right to have their authorized agency's do the warranty work and if the agency who gave you the estimate is authorized by them they will have to pay their fee.
