Very...Compact(?) Plant- why?

Hey guys, hope things are going well in everyone's tomato jungle!

Most of mine seem to be doing fine, small Brandy Boy aside, though it's finally growing a bit now.

However, in addition to my indeterminates, I'm growing a few mini/trailing types in raised/hanging baskets. Most of them are all good, except for one weird little Tumbling Tom.

I have 4 of them between 2 hanging baskets (I originally planed each to have their own pot, but I found another variety that I wanted to grow even more so they were doubled up. The other 3 are doing fine, the two in the other pot almost look ornamental with all their flowers.

Anyway, this one TT is very....compact. I don't think it's growth tip was broken, but instead of growing up and out it keeps somehow making more branches, from where I don't know, and is ridiculously densly branched and much smaller (in terms of space occupied) than the others. It's now started to flower which has made the effect even more obvious- the flowers are all jam packed in around the center of the plant like a yellow mess. It doesn't really look like it's blooming from a distance, but try to open it up a bit and voila- flower mess. I don't even know how fruiting is going to work.

Its "healthy" and kinda amusing so I don't plan to pull it, but do you know whats going on here?

Photos!

Earlier on before flowering- see how "flat" it is?

Photo taken yesterday, it's a bit more bushy but you can see how much bigger the other one is (squirt is on the right with some branches of the other going over it). Cannot really see much for flowers.

Pulled open- these flower are all around the center of the plant.

Its kinda fun to watch honestly.
