So, how did it go?

We had good conversation and in between passing rain showers we were able to walk through and talk about plants, Compare notes, and generally speaking get caught up. We traded blooms and talked about July plans to visit the Plumeria Gardens at the Corpus Christi Botanical Garden and Barbra's coastal garden nearby.

Jandey Jr. and K. Jr.(s) had a great time playing.

I had things set up to pull some containers to look at root structure, fertilizing, and up potting techniques...clinic style but passing showers kept interrupting. Lots of flowers to pick up due to the wind and rain. Much of the conversation was about how to prune and growth habits of specific plants. We also looked at some cuttings which were rooting.

Things are pretty soggy here. Although we saw a full arch rainbow from my front yard yesterday evening.

K, thanks again for hosting! Always so helpful to see how everyone else is growing, and to see how much a plumeria can grow up in a couple of years. Not to mention the kids...!

We're still getting rain here off and on--unbelievable! But the plumies look pretty happy. My yard is a small scale jungle right now :)
