Need Help: What color to paint house?

We bought our home 5 years ago and have renovated our kitchen. Our bedroom and bathroom renovations are almost complete. Now trying to desperately to update and complete the outside of our 1960s ranch style brick home.

I can't seem to pick a good color combo to go with for painting brick house and shutters. I also can't decide to put up a stained wooden fence or a white PVC fence. We plan on replacing iron decorative columns in the carport with white wood columns with molding and removing iron decor near front door. Removing storm door and replacing front door- was thinking wood door with 4 square beveled glass panes at top. Lighting and a garden/ landscaping.

Trying to go with something with clean lines that looks bright, happy, and clean.

Any suggestions/ tips to help achieve this look or if have a different idea all together anything would help and would be greatly appreciated.

Lovely home! Right now, it seems the shutters are washing out with the rest of the house color. So, taking from the other interior picture you've included... you like blue! Here are some ideas with "blue in mind." Obviously not brick... just looking at the color schemes here... I also love the natural wood doors on the two top pics.

Thank you for your helpful advice, did not think of using blue for accent or those color combos. You're right, good observation with color.

Your brick color is great as it is - no need to paint it! It is light, clean, and versatile with many colors that would go with it.
For a cleaner and brighter look, paint the trim around the windows white. The brick in the photo below is yellower than your house, but you see the idea of whiter windows, and a wood door.
Your shutters could be almost any hue family - a blue, as Teinahl suggested, red, green, or even white.

Paint under your eaves white as well.

Thank you for your advice I like the idea but I already tested out a light green and beige paint on the brick on the side of the house in our backyard so I feel like I'm locked into painting it now.

I would not paint this brick. It's very attractive, and painting will be a constant maintenance issue. I suspect you can strip the samples you painted and get back to the natural brick.
