The best trees produce the best wide plank flooring. It really comes down to the "heartwood content" found in a tree trunk. The densest vertical grain of the tree is called the Heartwood, which will give your hardwood floor its strength, stability, color, character, and stain absorption that home owners have celebrated for centuries.

In 2015, very few wood floors are comprised exclusively of heartwood. At Warren Christopher Flooring, we insist on nothing but the very best quality flooring for our clients; from design to installation and beyond.

The illustration below, shows the difference between hardwood floor cuts and engineered wood cuts.

By using heartwood, Warren Christopher boards have the best grain density for excellent strength and a life time of stability. Warren Christopher is providing wood flooring in some of the widest widths and longest lengths in the residential and commercial wood flooring industry. Warren Christopher floors also offer better performance in a variety of climates. Being installed on today’s most popular subfloor systems, Warren Christopher floors will provide you with years of beauty and use.
