Need color ideas!!!

We recently renovated our whole house and moved in a couple of months ago. We aren't going to put stone on this fireplace yet, so I want to paint the wood in the meantime. Our whole house is complete except for this and it drives me a little nuts!
I would really appreciate some ideas! Not sure what to do.

11 years agolast modified: 11 years agoI would paint it the same color as the walls, but add a large sculpture above - modern and interesting and you can use elsewhere if it doesn't suit your final look.
11 years agoYour style appers to be very modern, so a mirror covered wall/fireplace would be cool. A color suggestion would be yellow here for the summer. Yellow and grey are now very popular in interior decorating
