I purchased 4x8 tiles for my bathroom with the intention of doing the brick pattern/subway pattern in my shower. I have 20x20 tile laid brick pattern on my floor. The 4x8 are the same tiles color/etc that my floor tile is. I'm in the process of a remodel and I just had my tile laid out in my kitchen/family with this same 20x20 tile brick pattern. My backsplash tile in my kitchen will be 4x4 laid out diamond or diagonally. I was so focused on getting all my tile down on my floors that I forgot about the layout of my shower in bathroom. My dilemma or question is since the floor in bathroom is already done 20x20 brick pattern, what pattern should I do my shower? Like I mentioned, I bought the 4x8 with the intention of installing it subway/brick. Is it going to look too busy? What do I do? I was advised for my kitchen if I have my backsplash diagnally, then lay your floor tile brick or straight. I chose brick. I totally forgot about the shower layout. HELP PLEASE.
