I live in zone 10. Will it tolerated this heat?

In the north (Z6-7) it gets everything from small brown ants to giant black army ants and other insects too, so I would not suggest it since you'll be swarmed 9 months of the year.

I dont have any more pieces left, but I may have missed some roots in ground. I wont know until next June.
