Saguran End Table - Do or Don't

I'm considering an end table for my family room. The top is a black/grey/taupe saguran weave. I've always owend stained wood pieces. Can anyone tell me about Saguran. Is it durable? Love the contemporary look of this table but I have two young boys and an english lab. All are respectful, but still, accidents happen. Do I need to worry?

You can certainly bet that accidents happen...not just with young boys. However it is not practical for a family with kids (or with any men in the house). If you absolutely love it and have to have it. I would at least have a piece of glass fitted for the top. It would not eliminate any liquids seeping under the glass and staining the surface, but it would help.
