Maybe it's too much Houzz, but I'm considering painting the Semihandmade shaker DIY cabinets in my small galley kitchen a dark color.

BM Sharkskin for both uppers and lowers, with one set that sort of functions like its own hutch in BM Cheating Heat. The walls will probably be Wedding Veil or Distant Grey.

The floor is a pretty close match to BM Willow Creek

Am I nuts? Would you do it again, or chalk it up to experience?
