These plants are amazing. When my plumeria broke I didn't know if I could root a stem with no tip or root. Amazing they find a way to go on.

The top two feet broke off of this one. Last winter.

the_first_kms2 what do you suggest to seal them with? Because I haven't sealed mine.

I just wanted to say thank you to you guys for your help. Im already a bit attached to that leafless stick. I guess because it's my first plumeria. But I feel better now that I know I'm not fighting a losing battle. So thanks :)

Most of us have settled on brown tinted caulk. But you could use pruning sealer or liquid electrical tape,.

I've found Elmer's Glue to be a great sealant for Plumeria, tried it on roses initially and it works perfectly on Plumeria.

I also use Elmer's waterproof wood glue!!

Those lead nodes looks like they are swelling.. ;-)

I belive all those little "eyes" can grow new branches if left after the top breaks, so you might get 3 or four branches coming out below the break. Just be carefully not to touch any fragile new buds. ( also, I'm not a pro, my plants are now 4 days in my care, but with no suicides yet.)

Those leaf nodes will swell if They are working at back budding . That will give you a hint they will push branches. ( or back bud...). I have an example of my Metallica.
