congrats on the NY loft. I have not sen your former post, but here are some of my suggestions. see pictures for inspirations. I would switch place of the sofa and tv. install the tv above the fireplace. you could buy a small bio fireplace or place some big candles or lanterns in the fireplace.

you can buy some small ottomans for more seating. i would install a rug for a more cozy felling. painting the the walls white, and adding some sheer drapped curtains would brighten up the place.

by the door i would hang up some modern glass or galery shelves, a full body mirror, with a black frame. mirrors make the room appear bigger. add some hucks or creaks for coats and shirts.

all the raling is maybe not nessecary

Am I missing it -- You couldn't place tv between windows, so the seating could face fireplace/tv? Does it seem ok to ignore fireplace? Mount it anywhere else?

Even buy a console and place it to right of stairs, just ideas to show the fp [leave a space to enter door].

Storage for that low area - cheap boxes and baskets can smell of glue, so not so good near sleeping imo.

I think you have already been given tons of great advice by many people on your last post. Even 3D visuals. Like a small dresser next to your bed would make a great coffee table! Anyways, Groxile even made you a visual! What more advice could you ask for? I suggest you hire an I interior decorator. Otherwise, I am convinced you must be looking for confirmation on your decisions rather than advice.

I no I sound harsh and I am sure your a great person but some people don't like wasting their time. Like the countless you put tons of time into you last post.

I say it's where you keep your extra bedding, neatly folded after you've laundered it.

The place is small so skip the rug; it'll just make it look smaller. And since I've already given you my advice on coffee table, art, and dining table, I'll just repeat it here:

Oh, I'd keep using that area as a side table I guess..... If your beds not going there.

I still kind of feel it ashame to cover the fire place. I like adalisa frazzini idea from your previous post of moving the television between the window. Maybe you can build a long table that goes across the windows using the pipe shelving method and wrap it around to the fireplace. Then build the shelving up to the left of the fireplace. You could sit your TV on it between the windows and set up desk to the right of it. If it fits, I'd move the current bookshelving upstairs in the awarkward nook (laying it on it's side. Rearrange the sofa facing the windows and use a sofa table behind it with chairs that slide underneath for dining. #RollTide
