Have them do a match for Ben Moore Revere Pewter. Jet black (not matte, dull black) trim. Black garage door.

How about going two toned. Go dark on the part to the right that juts out and the deck wrap/stilts and use a lighter color for the part that is sunken back in more/above the deck. If you really wanted to go bold you could do a fun color for that recessed part and/or your garage door.

I like the colours in the first combination for this Houzz article. Great on a contemporary house, you could do some colour blocking, lighter on the recessed parts and darker on the forward parts of your home. Love the green for a front door.

You can almost always use one shade darker when dealing with the outside ..love the bright on the underside of the soffit leading to the door . .if you want to try that here . . .you need to move away from chartreuse with the gray greens .. wants to be on the yellow side of neon not the green side . . bette p's colors can be found if you follow the link that says more info

I know you didnt ask but I would loose the shutters around the garage door. they are unrealistic and becomes too rustic vs modern look the rest of the house is. if its in your budget, consider a new garage door, just saw some cool ones on lowes in around the $1000 price range.

DEFINITELY go two tones. A bright door would be really nice looking even with a neutral background palette. The idea of a bright color on underside of the porch is also a great one. Depends on how bold you wish to be. Also, re-staining the wood (even the same) just to make it pop more strongly.

I agree with Brandi... use a dark color for the body of the house , that way you are playing up the beautiful natural wood color. The window trim is not something to play up. Add a natural tone wood fence or fascia to match. Paint the railing out dark also to disappear and add plants with bright green foliage ...your house will be a show stopper!

We are doing red cedar overhangs and Benjamin Moore cheyenne green with silver window casings - our house is on the modern side, and a ranch like yours. I picked the color by finding a building in the color I liked and then matching the swatches to it, and then painting a big piece of cardboard in the swatches closest to it, to find the one that really matches because I got all sorts of advice on Houzz about how different the colors look in a big block. Cheyenne green in our climate looks natural and light enough to stand out from the greenery around it. Maybe do a Sherman Williams color match if you like it.

I would do a color based on blue, be it slate blue, turquoise blue, or true blue. Or something based on green or yellow. You should use a wow-ish color! Super dark colors will just date the house.

Fabulous house, I would do it dark for drama and interest. Deep charcoal black.

We just did ours in SW Quiver Tan. It is a tan/green/grey that looks fantastic. We have darker brown doors. Your windows will still stand out.

Just about every photo idea submitted here has neutral/natural colors AND an accent color that takes away the BLAH. I agree you need a darker shade than what is already on your house, but add some kind of wow to balance the subtle...

With brown windows, have you considered a tan? Maybe adding shutters to match the soffit?

Use whatever shade in a Rhino Shield paint. A ceramic paint with a 25 year warranty, it's expensive but saves labor costs.

Also, The quiver tan we used is dark. SW has a 40% off sale going on. We used Duration exterior. I think it's a 25 yr paint.

llmblonde, when I was house hunting I hated every green house I saw before I even walked through the front door. "Too institutional" and "it's painted green because that color paint was cheapest." Seeing your house would have changed my mind. Very pretty.
