I need a new top loading washer, and dryer for my new home. I am looking for a fairly large capacity washer where I CAN CONTROL THE WATER LEVEL and does not tear up and crush and squeeze my clothing . Hopefully with an old-style agitator. Any ideas out there? I hate what all the new washers do to our clothes! Thanks.

I have a front loader from frigidare and love it. I have steam for the dryer, no more wrinkles. Not sure what your washer is doing to your clothes, mine come out clean and I have even been able to wash my cashmere in my new washer/dryer.
