I actually love the white, and would replace the purple with a dark jet black. Gray might also work. You could do a different door color (like red) to make it pop.

Tried red on the door and the house looked like the American flag.

I meant red door with black in place of the blue/purple. No red flag with blue/purple going on too! :)

Black with red door. Hmmmm. I like that idea. The only issue is my neighbor down the street has a similar color scheme. Except his front door is black.

Take down your shutters and don't put them back up. Like the gray to replace the blue and would change the door to a darker blue gray.

Unfortunately changing or painting the siding is not an option right now.

I agree that a light gray would look nice on the painted areas. The door could be a traditional deep red or even a vibrant turquoise. Yes, remove the shutters.
