The brown kind from a tree?

The picture is to small to tell anything about it.

I was hoping someone had larger photos of there silmilar finished product and could elaborate on what was used.

ie. here is a door i installed from chelsea lumber, made out of,stained with..

If you know where it came from a quick call to them will probably resolve the question. Completely impossible to see from this picture-- could well be paint as far as I can see.

Oh, I'm not sure but it could be an ash-tree or a maple. That picture is too small. I like how it looks too! If you will find out, please let me know. Thanks

yeah it looks great, but i also live in michigan and have bad winters so im wondering what species of woods hold up best to the elements
