How big are your largest furniture? I suggest you print this out on paper and cut from other paper the "furniture" to test how they fit. Try e.g. to put your bed to the upper right corner. If you need shelter from the door, use a cupboard (e.g. Ikea Kallax, it's also good for attaching/keeping a reading lamp in/on it). If you don't need a shelter, test this: put the bed to an angle. Then the bed looks like the master peace ;)
