Try to find an antique silver tea service and have it on display, you could also look for an old set of crystal decanters and a silver drinks shaker and display that with a few martini glasses.

Have you considered adding some knobs & pulls to your cabinets. I think that would take your kitchen to the next level and give you additional glam.. Looks like that shelving area would be a good place to bring in further bling and some color. Doesn't have to be kitchen related as it will be more interesting if it isn't. And then if you can find them, some mercury glass canisters where that horse is .Whatever you have on top of the cabinets, it does not convey glam and draws the eye up to the ceiling. You have beautiful cabinets, so keep the eye on them instead and not put anything above them. Once you get those areas figured out, then I would look at doing some bling on the desk area which might include an antique mirror laying against the back splash with that horse in front of it. But paint the horse black, if able to. What is on each side of your cooktop?

You really don't need anything on either side of the stove. But if you feel you must, you might consider some decorative bottles with olive oil in them. I'm not a fan of doing this as it isn't good for oil but it could be just decorative "oil." The other thing might be to find some pretty salt & pepper grinders to put near the stove. I think adding knobs and pulls are really going to make a big difference and maybe wait on the other decorating (except do remove the stuff up above) until you see how the kitchen looks with the new hardware.
