Verbena likes full sun. That means a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight. If you have that or more then go ahead. I guess it also depends on where you live and how hot the sun is in the afternoon.

i suggest that whatever you plant... you keep the whole pot in full bright shade... for a week or so ... to get the roots past transplant shock ...

before you go slamming it in full ... hot... afternoon sun ...

you just cant get away with what you do in may ... or earlier... in july ...
