cabinet doors hitting the walls, frig, when opened!

We installed new shiloh cabinets and they are beautiful but the doors open too far and hit walls, and the refrig. The carpenter said he can use rubber bumpers. I don't like that idea. What about adjustable hinges to prevent opening greater than 90 degrees? anyone know of this for shiloh cabinets or what can I do?

the carpenter has incorrectly installed the units - there should be a 50mm or even 75mm infill allowed to facilitate opening...

I agree that rubber bumpers are not a good answer. Who did the design and cabinet layout? There are some 90 degree hinges on the market. You might want to find one that will work with your application and order a couple to test first. Hinges vary based on whether you have a face frame cabinets, full overlay, 3/4 overlay or 1/2 overlay. Shiloh is generally a face framed cabinet with 3/4 overlay, but may not be what you have. If you need assistance, Shiloh may be able to help you select a hinge.
