I'm looking for a built in microwave oven. Pretty much all of them come with an extractor fan which requires an exhaust. The built in microwaves that does not have an exhaust function are really expensive. I'm not planning to use the fan as I'm not going to install it above the range and I don't have the space to install an exhaust anyway.

I'm thinking of buying a one with the extractor fan and not using that function. Microwave functions should work without the exhaust anyway, right? Any thoughts/comments please?
