Blooms in clusters

The first flush is now coming to an end and whatever is left, especially the darker roses, is being fried by the heat we have been experiencing the last couple of days. Looking back though, June was a fantastic month and I had some really lovely blooms. Here are a couple...

Carol, I was busy cleaning up my rose beds this morning, very early before the heat (36C today) and I did something I don't often do - I cut some roses to bring into the house.

So especially for you, because you like Marie Curie so much ....

The fragrance on Marie Curie is quite strong! The other rose is Bonica 82. I think the go well together. Don't you?

Those are all very lovely! I can only imagine how beautiful everything looked in full bloom!

Postillion looks very voluptuous. Westerland looks yummier than a pink mimosa.
Artemis and Belami Kordana have that cloistered elegant reserve.
Christoph says I have arrived. Compassion says I know it but I'm prettier.

Ninkasi - Artemis was actually a wrong delivery - should have been Blackberry Nip! Have to transplant it because it is in amongst my purple/mauve bed. It really surprised me though: the blooms last forever, no problems with balling and is very healthy but I don't find it to be at all fragrant. I got it from Rosenschule Stange.

Awwwwww!!!! How sweet of you!!! That's an amazing bouquet!!!! One of the prettiest I've ever seen!!! I really, really like the two roses together. Well done!!!!
