a better question is can you lose the extra space? they do look very nice but without a second fridge i'd not recommend going smaller if you enjoy doing a big shop every other week.

if you have a second fridge i'd do the counter depth. if you dont want to have to depend on the second fridge than do the cut back wall, we did that in another house. then you can buy any fridge you'd like.

(a second freezer really wouldnt be a substitute for a too-small fridge for me)
