Living room?

I agree with Wendy. That stone wall is great. Even the color of the stone is a nice color.
I would however do the following:

1) put a new door or a new mantel around the fire place rather that the black screen and wood border that don't match the stone color

2) do something where the TV is stored.. Maybe just re stain the wood color to one that matches better? Or just paint it a solid color. Not sure what the black is by the TV, but get rid of the black there also

3) repaint the room

4) replace the tile floor with hardwood to warm up the room
