We recently moved into an old brick house that has a double hung window in the shower. Since the neighbor's kitchen window faces it (awkward!), we replaced it with "textured" privacy glass at the advice of the window company. Unfortunately, my neighbor admitted that they can still see us :( so embarrassing. I hung a plastic grey shower curtain inside for immediate privacy, and recently replaced that with a vinyl set of faux wood blinds. I hate this shower window!! Our plan is to retile the shower and perhaps use the window space as built in storage. My question is this: how do you close it up? Do we try to match the old brick outside? Won't it always look like it's been filled in like windows in an old warehouse building? In the photo you can see where the previous owners closed up an access door or something, but it's not noticeable down behind the bushes. Any disguise tips? Closed shutters over the space on the exterior? Help!
