Pay neighbors a few dollars for their water?

Everybody around here is on well and short on water. I have wonderful neighbors, if they could they would help without accepting any pay.

Also, if you have an air conditioner (either whole house or a portable) you can use the condensation drain to fill a rain barrel. They can easily generate a couple gallons per day in our area (I'm in Marysville) due to the humidity levels.

If you're using the AC anyway during the hot weather, it seems a shame to throw away "free" water.

My friend's dad, in west Texas did this with his central air condensation line. One summer when they were under severe water restrictions, the city actually came to see if he was watering because his shrubs and trees looked so good.
