Unknown herb?

HELP! I planted this in the spring, and can't remember what it was . . . I am pretty sure it was left over herb seeds. It may have grown strangely due to excessive rain. I can't figure out what it is. It should be some type of herb. Why does it have three different colored flowers?

It looks like cosmos. I don't know if it's considered an herb - I plant it as an ornamental annual.

There is a common blend of Cosmos called Sensation Mix. They are tri-colored. Probably what you planted.

OMG, You guys are great!!! I did have a little pack of Cosmos that I planted in the top tier of my patio. None of them came up, so I didn't have it to compare to. I must have put some of the seeds in this pot. That's not the way I remembered it, but I plant so many things, sometimes I forget what they is where . . .
