Skewers for veggies cooked on the grill.

Nice! What veggies (besides potatoes) go best with rosemary do you think?

Well, we like tomatoes, onions, zucchini, peppers - whatever is fresh and in season.

At Thanksgiving, I make a 'nest' of rosemary and sage sprigs underneath the roasting turkey.

ahhh now I am just getting really hungry thinking about thanksgiving!

When baking chicken, we like to slip rosemary under the skin and on top.

You might want to check with folks over on the Herbs forum here for more ideas as Herbs and their uses is the focus of that forum.

I have a little herb zipper (kinda like a mini food processer for herbs that chops them super tiny)

I chop and dry several herbs separately and also make a mix for grilling meat and veges (oregano, basil, rosemary, marjoram, thyme, chives) Nancy

I have a hard time keeping it going over the winter months. So i raid my mothers rosemary 'shrubs' when i visit. (i sneak it) She really does not use it much but i do the skewers for shrimp/scallops,. Also whizz it in my small chopper with other herbs and add to softened butter, then roll in parchment and into the freezer. Slice off a bit for veg or a steak topping at the table all winter. So fresh. It does freeze well just left as stalks in food saver bags....sage freezes well also.

Whizzed with a bit of olive oil and garlic, lemon zest, then frozen in ice cube trays, the cheap ones, just filled half way...then into a ziplock when frozen....tuck under the skin of a whole roast chicken during the winter months. And add a bit of butter to that mix.

I've seen the skewers for shrimp on the Chew but havnt tried that one yet. I'm making a balsamic pot roast tommorow and am adding rosemary for added flavor. I love it with both beef and pork roasts, I have a little tray that has cubes and a cover for it , same principle as sleevendogs. Pop them out put in ziplock after frozen

This is a link to Union Square's Bar Nuts. People go crazy over them at parties. I've also given them as gifts.

And it couldn't be easier to make!
