Hi Monica. We chose Pella ProLine windows. The determining factor at the time was that Pella was the only window offering black as a standard exterior color. The up charge for the other major brands were crazy. We needed the black to give the more industrial feel while still having wood clad and good insulation value. Hope this helps! ~Sheri
