Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the responses on my other thread thus far...much appreciated!

So, I'm trying to adopt this entirely organic lawn care maintenance plan, and I got to thinking...is all of what I'm doing to feed the soil properly, add organic matter, not use chemicals, etc. all for nothing? The reason being, won't my irrigation system that is using city water (chlorinated) be killing all of the beneficial microorganisms that I'm trying to put back into the soil? It seems like this would be detrimental to the microbes every time I water the lawn, no?
