Kitchen knobs & handles

I'm building a cabin with a modern style kitchen. The cabinets are sleek and I'd like to use the satin nickel hardware that is available in many lengths. Is there a drawer to bar ratio to choose the appropriate bar pull length? I have several large 33" drawers that will be quite heavy with dishes. Also smaller drawers that are four in a cabinet, varying in face size. Not to mention several cabinet doors that will also need hardware. What's the best way to go? Help please as I need to order the hardware this week.

I just like the same ratio to door or drawer so when trying to figure it out I use masking tape until I get the look I want then order them from Lee Valley they have the best assortment of sizes that I have found . I have a 27.5 “ handle on a 30” drawer to give you an idea, and all the rest of my drawers have that same ratio at least as close as I could get.
