I am trying to figure out how to place my lights as the mirror and sconces for my vanity, are rather large, and it's my understanding that for proper vanity lighting, you should place sconces at eye-level, approx. 60" height. My concern is that it will make the space feel too crowded if lights are placed that low? The space is 63" wide, and the mirror is 40". The sconces are 8" wide.

The sconces are rather large, so I'm very inclined to place them much higher so it does not feel crowded?

What would you do? I am set on the lights and mirror, so going w/something else is not an option.

Thanks.
