Before & After of our Guest Bathroom

You all were so helpful when my guest bathroom needed serious help. I saved $ for about 1.5 years to be able to re-do and here are my before and after pictures. This was my cry for help back in February, 2014 with photos. [https://www.houzz.com/discussions/need-to-hide-this-toilet-but-how-dsvw-vd~847619[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/need-to-hide-this-toilet-but-how-dsvw-vd~847619)

Now I'm happy to show you the before (terrible design) and after photos with a walk in shower instead of the tub. We're very pleased! Thank you for all your help. First the before pix, then the new pixs

Love the shower. Trying to talk Hubs into changing our fiberglas shower into something like you have! Great job.

thanks! I too love our shower, it's the same foot print as our previous tub/shower combo but seems larger when you're showering. My contractor suggested the wall to wall mirror over the vanity and so happy I did it, it does make this small bathroom seem larger.

You're all welcome. I sure can't be taking all the credit. My contractor, John Padgett Design and his hard working guys did such a good job and John offered such good, creative advice.

You did a good job but I must say I think I liked the before better

That is such a lovely re-do! The before was not very good, I can see why you wanted the change.

Wow, love the shower! This is what I want to do with our tub/shower combo. Do you miss the tub?

What a gorgeous remodel! We especially love that you turned your tub into a walk-in shower and the colors are beautiful together. Enjoy it!

I would have just changed out the shower and put in the little cabinet that gives some privacy to the toilet area.

I almost used this shower door too for our hall bath. are you finding any water leakage out of the shower? I was warned this would happen so went with the traditional sliders but yours is so much prettier

No leakage at all. I really like mine. I too was warned about possible leakage but was also told by the owner of the company (who has the same door) that any drips on the floor will more likely come from the person getting out so always use bath mat. No regrets taking the tub out. We still have a tub/shower combo if I ever feel like soaking. This tub was only used when my grandkids were toddlers.
