**Warning: I'm a novice but I may have a few ideas**

Could be a few things that I can think of, but may need more information. How often do you water it and how much sun is it getting? What zone are you in? If it is really humid where you are then that may also be playing a role.

As for the plant dying, they are pretty tough and seem to lose leaves when going dormant and also if stressed from something like reporting or environment change. The leaves do seem to come back though. I'd check the base of the plant, or caudex, to see if it is firm or soft. It should be firm.

Also if you have any pictures then that could be a huge help as well.

Again, I'm new to this but hopefully someone else with a bit more experience can expand on this subject. Hope this helps, good luck and keep us updated.

What device are you trying to send it through? On Apple products it should ask for "camera roll" or "take photo". PC will ask from Photo Library.

I water it every 2-3 day( twice a week), in zone 3b, plant is facing south window(getting about 7-8 hours of sunlight). Soil mix-60-75% oil absorbent, 10% perlite ,15-20% peat moss and 5% of red lava rock on the surface

Shaq, I do not know what this could be caused from. Possibly Martin might take a look. He has a lot of knowledge and possibly seen something like this. I wish I could be of more help.

Someone gave me cuttings of dwarf plumeria and the stuff under the leaves look like what's on your plant:

In a plumeria forum on another website I asked whether it was diseased. This is the response I got from an expert: "It's not super healthy. I'd start by clipping (not tearing) off the leaves, then maybe spray it with some insecticide and see how the new leaves come in." Maybe someone here who also raises plumerias could pipe in and tell what it is and how to get rid of it.

I've just defoliated a lot of my DR which had spotting under the leaves from spider mites but the spotting wasn't like that. One of the spots appears to have a lighter halo around it which suggests to me it may be a fungal problem. I'm certainly no expert though and I'm sure someone will have the answer for you

Found out the spots on the plumeria leaves are rust fungi so I will spray the new leaves with fungicide.

Shaq, if you see any powdery "rust colored" fluff on the leaves besides the dark spots, then could be rust fungi. Anyway, I would go ahead and try a fungicide on your plant. Move it away from other plants in the vicinity so they don't get the disease too.

I moved it away from other plants and found some powdery stuff on it. Should i remove the affected leaves and is this rust fungi cuz by watering the plant too much? Also do you have any specific name or brand for fungicide? Thank you!

Yes, remove the affected leaves. The fungi spores are carried by air and by insects as well as ourselves/tools. I don't have a recommendation...ask your garden center which kind would be okay for succulents. It doesn't have to be the most expensive brand.

Shaq, glad I could help and hope your plant will be healthy again soon. I helped myself, too in regard to the plumeria. I just hope my adeniums will not be infected by exposure.

Oh...and thank you Averil. Your suggestion that the problem might be fungal led me into researching fungal problems in plumeria. That's how I found out about rust fungi.
