What color is "iron"?

I saw the rug in person and thought it was a charcoal black, however, I am seeing it listed as "iron" and "brown" on various websites. What color is the background? It is a jaw dropping rug.

    Isn't it beautiful? We put some extra photos on the listing to help determine the color. I think it's closer to a charcoal than a brown as well, but we do not store the rugs on site so I can't verify that for you. If you saw it in person, you're the best judge - you know what it looks like in real, natural light. I don't see any alternative color ways that are close to this one, so this is probably the same one you saw in stores. If you don't like it, we have a 30-day return policy and will help you find one that you love!
