I inherited a house on the east side of Green Bay a couple of years ago. The property came with many wonderful plantings including a nice patch of black-eyed susans in the front yard. The first year living at the property, the susans bloomed beautifully. Last year and this year, though, the blooms on the plants look stunted. I can see the dark brown "eyes" of the flowers, but the petals are almost non-existant. The bed gets full sun till around 5/6 pm in the evening when it's shaded by the east side of the house. Anyone have any advice for me or clues as to what might be going on?
