There's tons of information on the Internet. I actually asked a friend of mine recently about this, and he found a bunch of studies that showed that compost tea does make for bigger, healthier plants and shows effectiveness against some bacterial and fungal infections, too. Aeration, which I always thought seemed silly, actually does increase beneficial microbial content in the compost tea, so it seems that getting a bubbler to use in making it is actually worth it. I haven't tried it yet, as I started my worm bin in May and haven't yet harvested, but I plan to use compost tea liberally in my garden next year and hopefully on fall crops later in the season. Make sure your water is chlorine free

Running a 5-gal bucket of water with a bubbler for an hour or two will free it of chlorine , before adding anything to the water. If you have any pool/pond de-chlorinator add a few drops and it will speed up the process.
