I recently bought a drip tape. I do not like it. Does not deliver adequate amounts of water. I think it would have to be left on 24/7 in order to deliver enough water.

Hello, good question.We build quite a few garden boxes with irrigation.We use a product called tech line,it is a 1/2" poly flexible pipe with emitters built into it. You can choose different spacing and different water volume emitted. It can be above or below ground because the emitters are one way valves and won't back siphon dirt. We are now using below our lawn installations saving 50 to 70% in water use over spray. There are brass adapters that can adapt from your garden hose to the tech line or a standard valve can be used with filters.
