grey paint with chair rail?

so I want to paint the dining room grey.....but do i put dark grey on the top or bottom or both with this chair rail? the room has 10 ft ceilings, and i just ordered a chandelier. the wallpaper picture is the adjacent kitchen. just bought this house and every wall is white with chair rail.

13 years agoColor can be scary but often times I've fallen in love with it. I just did a very narrow a bathroom in grey & white. If its what you want go for it!
