I just finished all my lychee pruning with my family's help that is. Should have done it on July 15th, but was busy, so we did it n the 16th and 17th. I got two huge lychee trees to trim--a lot of work in this humid weather. Then we did another five more smaller ones (2 in the pot and 3 in the ground). Oh, then there are a few more potted seedlings in the pot which i grow for fun.

Next I guess I have to start fertilizing them until they bloom early next year.

Puglvr, I hope you have done all your pruning too. Do you prune your mangoes the same as your lychees? I have harvested some fruit from my Pickering Mango. It gave 12 fruit this year and my Carrie .. very disappointed only 2 despite so many blooms and fruitlets earlier on.

I'm still eating the fruit of my Brewster lychee. Some still in the fridge and others in the freezer. You know, the frozen ones actually taste like a kind of sorbet--Lychee sorbet :) It's very refreshing in this incredibly humid summer weather. I'm looking forward to some cooling weather already .. lol
