    It is a white carrara marble. The designer went to the quarry in Italy to hand pick the bookmatched pieces.

    I am looking for information as to how one would secure a slab of onyx and suspend it above the floor? What type of back lighting do you suggest?

    You can get similar porcelain slabs (5'x10') ask your local tile shop.
