Thank you. Not a bad idea. The stained glass will go in at the top......but I meant natural light from the window.

Can you put a matching transom on the rear wall? Perhaps you could get the kind that would tilt open and use this type in both locations.

That's sounds like what the builder proposed but the only difference is that he will take the wall off from the roof but leave a block beam in the middle. I would have liked the whole wall to be taken out.
