We are redecorating our master bedroom and bathroom. I'm at the point of selecting window treatments. We have very traditional tastes. Our bedroom set is Pennsylvania House Cherry. As shown in the picture there is a large print over the bed. On either side of the bed are windows that open into the neighbor's backyard. Running parallel to the bed is a large sliding door. This door opens to a deck but privacy is again an issue. The third picture is of the bathroom. We are putting in a traditional claw foot tub that will be surrounded by windows, but again overlooking the neighbors backyard. The cabinetry in the bathroom is white. I am currently considering white wood blinds on all of the windows with the exception of the sliding glass doors. I anticipate using room darkening roller shades that could be hidden by a cornice during the day. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
