    The drapery rod is threaded thru the tabs in the back. You don't see them from the front but they still create a nice pleated look. I just hung some in my dining room and love the look!

    Hello, the back tabs refer to the
    header construction of the drape. This product is finished with
    a 3” pole pocket with back tabs. It can be hung 1 of 2 ways. Pole/rod shirred
    through the pocket for a gathered look (stationary) or you can run the pole
    through the back tabs for a uniform pleated look- like the image. Thank You, HPD
