Hi all! I moved into a new house last year. The paint is Sands of Time by Sherwin Williams. The builder used the same sheen and color all over the house. Its chipping in areas and its very hard to scrub in the kitchen and bathrooms. Also, we have kids and they tend to scruff up the paint sometimes. The dark wood in our house mixed with this color can really make the house seem dark- especially in the entryway. The woodwork is a dark walnut color. I am looking at greys or even a type of greige color. Do you have any recommendations? I dont want to go with the same type of color as it currently is but only lighter...i would prefer something a bit different. I am attaching a similar picture of my woodwork that I found online. I was also looking at gray owl and revere pewter but thought maybe revere pewter would be too dark. Thank you for your opinions!
