Great Room Help - Curtains, chairs & coordinated dining - suggestions?

Looking for some ideas on decorating/accessorizing our "great room" in our new home.

Would love some suggestions on curtains available at 96" or 98" length
Would love suggestions on other items to put into the room to add some cohesiveness and maybe some color like: coffee table, accents, art, side chairs

STYLE: Transitional (not entirely modern or entirely traditional)

ROOM ACCENT COLOR(s): Would like to integrate teal/teal variants and/or maybe yellow/soft gold but open to other ideas

CURTAINS - Suggestions?

I realized that custom is probably beyond what we can spend right now so preferably something off the shelf/available online. We like the look that layered sheer/anchor curtains give as well as the clean affect of grommet top panels. Note: The light that enters is not direct so less about blocking light/heat and more interested in creating a clean, polished look and ability to draw for privacy at appropriate times.

ACCESSORIES/ACCENTS - Suggestions?

Looking to buy a lamp/s, new coffee table and maybe a couple side chairs or other seating and perhaps artwork over fireplace

THE ROOM: Open 17x17 room with 9ft ceilings and 3 sets of windows and darker hardwood floors that opens to the dining room. The windows face our back yard to one side and the neighbors/fence to the other.

Items currently in the room include:

Wall Paint: SW Kilim Beige SW 6106

Grey herringbone sofa and loveseat set

Dark Hakko media cabinet (World Market)

Allen+Roth Victoria harbor ceiling fan

Loloi Diada Ivory hand tufted wool, geometric pattern

I recently put these Kenneth Cole velvet drapes up. I am very pleased with them. They compare very favorably with much more expensive off the rack drapes. They come in 95 & 108 lengths. I did add stiffening inside the loop top to make the top edge stiffer.

This is what they look like in my home. I bought an extra panel and made the door panel to match.

You can get double decorative rods and use sheers and panels. Grommet top panels can be purchased many places and come in many colors and prices. Begin at Walmart, Target, Ikea, BB and Beyond, etc.

Perhaps you can do white sheers and panels that are a little darker than the wall color. You have a beautiful home.

You need a nice piece of large art to hang above the FP. If you have a nice view across from FP, you can also hang a large mirror instead.

Get rid of the clutter on your mantle.

Get some additional throw pillows with some color! Your room is begging for it!

I'd get some small side tables for the couch.

Agree drapes would help.

Is that a file cabinet next to the door? I'd replace with a tall bookcase where you can put accessories & books to add some warmth (&color!) to you room.

Grey Linen plain or Grey Linen patterned curtains with dark metal rods, assuming you don't need to close them for privacy. Teal is not the accent color I would consider for this room. I would consider a combination of gold/grey decorative pillows and accessories.
