Honestly, when I'm putting in granite or quartz countertops, it's not easy deciding on backsplash and flooring patterns that don't clash miserably. Just for the record, I'm NOT a fan of white subway tiles. Maybe it's because I'm from the NYC area and have seen enough of them. lol

So here's what I came up with. My new kitchen will feature Silestone Quartz in the "Zirix" pattern. The backsplash will have two 4 inch rows top and bottom of Bedrosians Manhattan Silk Glass Subway Tiles with the center area being 10" of EPOCH Desert Gold glass tiling. My floor will be Duraceramic Earthpath Sunny Clay. My kitchen walls will be painted with Sherwin Williams
"Ecru" while the lower area of the island will be San Antonio Sage. The maple cabinets are a meduim tone.

I hope it turns out as beautiful as it looks on video pre-imaging! :-)
